Braille Drawings

I love braille drawing but know nothing on how to do them. However, if someone would walk me through, I would be so excited to prepare some interesting ones. Our own Denis Bessette has agreed once again to guide us to draw some braille picturess this Thursday. Don’t forget to have your braille writing devices and a bunch of braille sheets handy. Below is the April schedule for Embracing Braille:

April 1: Presenter Mary Tellefson will cover some developmental principles with a focus on the use of hands to compensate for the role of vision in development.

April 8: Group facilitators Elyse and Vileen are presenting this week! Elyse will explain each category of hand movement and describe Vileen's hand positions on braille pages.

April 15: Mary Jane Dunmire will discuss her experience with learning braille later in life and how she uses it in her daily life.

April 22: Luis Pistelli will outline the importance of physical exercises for neuropsychomotor development among blind children for learning braille.

April 29: Open-ended question and answer session.
