How about adding the yellow, as stripes in an earth tone blanket.  You could double strand the yellow, so you do not have to do the whole blanket, in such thin yarn.

You could make earth tone place mats.  I think yellow might be to lite and get dirty, by itself.

I think placemats would be a good idea. It’s a good color to brighten up any kitchen or dining room.
