My sister made me a panda cookie jar and a statue of Lassie!
The panda is holding 2 cookies.   With yum yum, and panda on the other, in raised letters!
It was so sad when they closed the kiln down.

As a child I remember having a stuffed beaver! My grandfather has a stuffed armadillo. I don’t know who gave it to him but I know it’s because he grew up partially in New Mexico.

My husband will tell you I collect books and paper LOL. But really I have cat memorabilia, music boxes galore and some Norwegianmall Rosemaled  items. My mother is 100% Norwegian so that’s where I got that stuff. My mother does the decorative art. Very time-consuming but beautiful. I used to have tons of music boxes but I’ve moved so much in the last few years I had to give away quite a few. Some of my favorites are a carousel horse that goes up and down and plays music, a Swiss chalet where if you open the top it will play Edelweiss and a basket with a ceramic golden retriever. It’s so funny because the dog spins around. I don’t remember what it plays anymore. It was given to me by college roommate. The best one of all was the one my husband made for me when he was attending Blind Inc. in Minnesota. It is hand made and is light censored. Even A tune inside the box. So I guess he had to order the song. It plays Hunter Hayes song “wanted“. I have a cat shaved cookie jar and a fish shaped water pitcher! Are used to save everything but eventually you realize your niece is a nephews would be better off with some of it. I do still have some things from my childhood like the teddy bear that my grandma made for me
