Shelly is correct with the technique to dye this fabric.  I have done
it...years ago...and it is pretty cool.

I have heard over and over the word batik referring to fabric.  What is
batik?  I know it is a cotton, but can anyone describe this a little more to
us?  Has anyone used this cloth to make something out of it?


 


I know it is a special way of dying the fabric.
