I  think I still have a rubber stamp set I used to use with my grandchildren when they was small. If I can find it, I will experiment to see if those designs are recognizable in clay. But I took a pottery class one time, and they had all kinds of little things for people to use to make designs. Everything from twigs, to forks and spoons, to cookie cutters to buttons and toys. A comb can make a variety of designs. Even your fingers can do interesting things. I have a couple of pieces I made then, but pottery requires a mess I don't want in my house, so I am thinking this stuff should be fun and creative. What I found in WalMart was in tiny blocks. So I went looking in craft stores. Besides, I needed a reason to explore our new Hobby Lobby much closer to my house. Just in case you want to know, I found I love this yarn in six and seven-ounce skeins for the same price as the 4-ounce skeins. Do not know if they are online, but have never seen them before. They have a lot of colors if you consider all sizes.
