[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Introducing myself

Good afternoon,
To label my skeins of yarn, I take the label off extremely carefully, braille the name of the yarn on the label, and carefully tape the label back onto the skein. Also, The pharmacy where I get scripts put each medication bottle in a smallish plastic bag with the instructions and receipt. Well those little zip lock type bags are good for small skeins of yarn, potholder loops, latch hook pieces, beads and other craft materials.
I played cello in our school for the blind orchestra from 6th grade on, and I took piano lessons from 3rd grade on. I also took pipe organ lessons for 2 years in high school and 1 year in college. I am probably going to rid of some of my braille piano music soon, so, maybe you would like it. 
Which Elmhurst orchestra did you play in? Is it Elmhurst, Elmhurst Illinois, or another one? 
Seems like we have some things in common. 
This is a fantastic list. I have learned a great deal from our fellow listers.

Personally, I like to use the WayAround tags. I get the round ones and put a silicone band through them and fasten it onto the skein of yarn. You can also take rubber bands or silicon bands, braille a label onto a regular index card, cut down to size, punch a hole in the corner and fasten the band around your skein of yarn.
