Hi Linda and everyone, I think that I got my first paint by the numbers kits
in the sixties.
My Dad was painting pictures of hunting dogs which he framed and hung in the
living room, and, I got some bird pictures that I painted and gave to my
Mom.

I guess I had one of the original paint by number books.  I remember I
received one for Christmas in first grade.

Tomorrow November 14th is the last day to sign up for the Frosty the Snowman
Mitts. These mitts are a very basic mitten that even a beginner knitter
could make. When finished they look like the face of a snowman wearing a top
hat. To sign up all you have to do is go over to the class proposal page and
sign up. The class is Sunday November 21st and Monday November 22sd at 3:00
eastern.

 

Did you know Dan Robbins invented the paint by number kits in the 1950s.
