I suppose since most people don’t know how they’ve changed over the years it’s not all that irrelevant here.

I continue to take classes through them when I first found out they had offered Braille because of these classes. Unfortunately no, all the those classes are gone. There are only Braille classes still done via correspondence. Everything else is more geared for people who are The newly blind, seniors and families or teachers.. I’m really sad about it for so many reasons. Some people argue that there are so many other places blind people can get resources these days it’s not relevant anymore. Personally I think this hurt lots of students in public schools during Covid. And not every student has an itinerant teacher let alone not all of the itinerant teachers out there are able to spend time with students as they’d like. I wanted to take math classes myself but they changed everything before I got the time to devote to it. You’ll have to check out www.hadley.edu. Personally I think a lot of what’s out there on their site could B found and state programs. Much more out there locally for seniors then the blind in the workforce age group. It does bother me that organizations focus on kids from birth to 21, and then abandon us until we’re 65+ and considered a senior citizen. Being 50 I know that things have changed for the better but it’s so slow. I feel like a guinea pig in a wheel.
