I feel for the knit stitch on the back of the work. It makes a little bump, because of the loop going across.

Do you do this finding the stitch facing you or away from you in the round?

If it feels strait up and down with no bump, that means that you did a knit there in the last row. So, you need to make a pearl stitch that will make a bump. The seed stitch, after all, is alternating smooth stitches and bumps. The smooth I'm talking about is 2 vertical threads going up and down. I'm sure someone could give you the more technical wording, but that is how I can tell.

Then you have another marker and continue in seed stitch. The next row seems easy enough where you would p1,k1, p1 where you made three stitches.
