[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Socks anyone?

Hi Dixie,
The heel flap is the part that goes from the leg round the back of the heel that turns to the flat part of the foot.  I think the gusset is what connects the heel with the foot. I’m not entirely sure about the gusset.   I have always been fascinated with the idea of knitting socks.  There is a book on BARD about knitting socks that I have read.  I’ll look it up and let you know.
