[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Celtic Cable fingerless mitts

Hi Cathy.
I've been using the notched stick cable needle. It's working well for me.
I think the place where I dropped stitches was on a row where you begin by knitting 1 stitch, then immediately slip some stitches to the cable needle. It's easy for that one stitch to fall off while I'm slipping the next stitches. Same thing happens at the end of the row--1 lonely stitch on the left needle while I mess with the cable needle.
Tracy

Hi Tracy,

Oh, I really like the celtic knot pattern. I would certainly like to try making these fingerless gloves.

Dixie taught a number of cable patterns during her last year’s dishcloth class and they were quite interesting. I will download this pattern and let you know how it goes. Hopefully, I will not drop stitches. For whatever reason, I am pretty good with a cable needle. I like the J shaped one because the yarn stays on it better than on some other shaped cable needles. Which shaped cable needle do you like?
Thanks for sharing the pattern.

May God bless you.
