[NFB-Krafters-Korner] looking for a pattern

I would knit the hat and the scarf separately, using whatever pattern you want. Then I would design a separate piece to bring the two together. I would pick up stitches at the bottom of the hat to bring them together. Then you can design whatever type of connection you like. If you want it to come quite a bit forward on the sides of the face, you may want to work each side separately. Just keep track of what you did, so they match. LOL. I think the hat will fit better if you make it as a separate piece. When I am doing something like this, I go to the store, and look at similar items to be sure I am making what is being worn. We are not seeing many knit hats yet, but any day they will show up, or maybe I haven't looked recently. Let us know what you come up with.
