[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Simple patterns needed

I know what you mean by needing many packages. I lost a bunch of them as I have moved quite a bit since 2008 when I first started learning. I finally got a really nice container that locks so what few I have left are safe. The worst it’s going to do is tip over and roll unless you forget to put the lid on. But then again I can see them sliding off a needle and falling between the couch cushions! Has anyone accidentally vacuumed up plastic ones? Does that kill vacuum cleaners? I really don’t know how to use them so they just sit in the cup plus like I said I have maybe five or 10 at the most. Need to go get some. They didn’t have any at Walmart last time I was there. I have to go get medicine and we have to pick up some things for a friend so maybe I will get some this afternoon.

Thanks for the help!

Then I only have to count 21 stitches, see that it's right, then count 21 more stitches and see that's right. Or, if I'm working a repeating pattern, I put markers every few repeats, or more, depending on how long the repeats are. Then, if I come to a marker at the wrong place in the pattern, it's easy to go back to the last marker and straighten myself out.

> Thanks Tracy. Scarf or dishcloth is good. Something that isn’t intricate but still pretty nice. I want to be able to give things away. I just would like ones that don’t require lots of counting of stitches. I still tend to obess over how many in a row because i tend to increase and not realize it until its too late. Perhaps a towl hanger, like for a kitchen towl. Once you’re done how do you attach the towel to the knitted hanger?
