Hi all,

 

We had an enjoyable hour making a crochet cross from a pattern shared with
us by Jill. During the conversation the subject of crochet letter sizes and
their mm size equivalents came up. Here is a chart of the information for
those who might be interested.

CROCHET HOOK SIZES 

Note that a plastic vs metal hook will give a slightly different hook size.

 

These are standards

 

B/1 2.25mm

C/2 2.75mm

D/3 3.25MM

E/4 3.5mm

F/5 3.75mm

G/6 4.0mm

7 4.5MM

H/8 5.0MM

I/9 5.5mm 

J/10 6.0mm

K/10-1/2 6.5mm

L/11 8.0mm

M/13 9.0mm

N/15 10.0mm
