Hi Erika.
Pony beads are very easy to work with.  They're about the size of peas, with a big hole in the middle that makes them easy to string.  They're made of plastic.  
On their own they don't look like much, but combined in the right way you can make fun things.

Good point Tracy. I don’t need a key chain I’ve got zillions. A daisy shirt pin would be cool i’ve no idea what pony beating is so that’s kind of put me off too. I really don’t know what to buy or really what to ask for.
