I want to thank everyone who has responded to my question. I did get the hat
pattern I wanted and I have also received other ideas to make a beaded hat.

I can not find anything, in the last 3 or 4 years.
Make a brim, of e-wrap a row, purl a row for 10 rows.  Make up a pattern for
your beads and string them onto your yarn, before starting to loom knit.
When you want a bead, place it between the pegs!
You can make some nice patterns, by staggering your beads, evenly around the
loom.
