scarf. If I find some spare time I'll make one that way to.

Did you know I used to envy anyone who could do a cartwheel. Now I'm jealous
of anyone who can get up off the floor without making grunting noises and
hanging onto furniture.

I just finished the "O Holy Night" dish cloth pattern that Dixie shared last
year. I used white yarn that has some sparkle flake throughout the fabric.

I am also working on Shelley's "Wonderful Ribbed Scarf" pattern. I am
knitting it in two parts so there will be the pretty wavy end on both ends
of the scarf. My first part is done at24 inches. After I finish the second
part, then I will sew the two straight edges together that will set on the
back of a neck. I really like the texture of the scarf!

I am knitting a scarf with the pattern you taught. It is 30 inches right
now, so I think 6 to 10 more will be fine. I can't knit for too long,
because my hand is still recovering from the carpal tunnel surgery.
I got on the scale yesterday, and thought maybe it was wrong because I moved
it to the carpet. I moved it again this morning to tile, and it said I lost
another 7 pounds. This makes 38 pounds since last February. I'm not sure
why, but I'll take it. Also, I'm the only person I know of that looses
weight on a cruise. I love cruises. I figure it is because food is available
24/7, so I only have to eat a little each time. There is also a lot of
walking on a cruise.

The list is really quiet. Does that mean you are all crafting? Do you have
all your Christmas gifts made or are you still hard at work? Unlike me maybe
your out side enjoying some nice weather. I've gotten a lot of crafting done
the last few days. Our temps are unbelievable cold, today with the wind
chill it was  -60 below out. So  I've been knitting mittens and hand sewing
some bags that would make good book bags.  The only good reason for this
cold weather is that I have an excuse to say home and craft craft and craft
some more. Sure hope I don't run out of supplies!

What are you working on?

 

Did you know every time I try to eat healthy along comes Christmas, Easter,
summer, Friday and ruins it for me.
