[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Interchangeable needles - was What Santa brought me

I like metal but am doing fine with my Denice plastic!
I have the most trouble with Bernet Baby Blanket, because of the thread,
running through the yarn.  It does not flow smoothly on the needles!
I have some individual sets, I think I will use for now!

Hi Terry.
I have both the Chiagu and the Addi.
The Addis connect by pushing them together and then twisting until they
click.  It feels like there's a spring inside when I'm pushing.  It takes a
little effort.  I've had mine for quite a while, and I like them.  However,
if you're a tight knitter, or have to wiggle the needle around in tight
stitches, the join can come disconnected.  And it seems to be happening more
often now, so maybe it wears out after a few years.
The Chiagu have a key, so I guess they're not what you want.  They just
screw onto the cable, then get tightened with the key, which looks just like
a blocking pin, should I ever lose it.  The Chiagus are pointier than the
Addis, too.  Good for picking up stitches, but also good for poking myself.

I am thinking of a set of the Addi.  I do not want a set with a key!

Santa brought me a beautiful set of Chiagu interchangeable knitting needles!
Not sure about all the extra bits, but I'll ask at my local yarn store next
week.  But I'll be putting my current project onto them today.  

I like my old Addi-clicks, but lately sometimes, with a tight project, the
needle comes unstuck from the cable, and that's not good. 

And my sister sewed me a beautiful shirt.  Really nice, and it fits me
great.

And later today I'll be trying the suggestions the KK Cooks gave me for
better mashed potatoes.  Yum!
