[NFB-Krafters-Korner] How to knit in ends

I have been doing this in loom knitting  for several years. It is so much easier. Also when I finish a project i weave in mine ends before I remove it from the loom.

I just work with the end and working thread as a double thread. Then when
you work back the other way, if it is the beginning, remember to work the
double thread as one. I do it all of the time, and it hardly is noticeable.
I also do that if I run out of yarn in the middle of the row, instead of
taking the work back to the beginning.

I hear there is a way to knit in the yarn ends, rather than doing it with a
darning needle.  Can anyone explain this technique?  Google was not helpful.
