I hear you! I can’t get ALEXA to do anything right so why would what I said God correctly to the doctor? My doctor has enough problems doing Tele med. Nine times out of 10 she can’t get the computer to work and we have to do a phone visit anyhow.

On Monday, Teladoc Health, one of the largest telemedicine companies in the US, announced its partnership with Amazon <https://teladochealth.com/newsroom/press/release/Teladoc-Health-and-Amazon-Team-Up-to-Launch-Teladoc-on-Alexa/> to launch a "virtual care" service that will allow Amazon <https://www.cnet.com/tags/amazon/> users to connect with health care providers via Echo devices.

This service will be available 24/7 for nonemergency needs -- like allergies or colds -- and will initially be audio-only. A video chat feature is set to be offered soon, according to the press release.

The Teledoc call center will collect the patient's medical history and insurance information during the initial call, according to The Verge <https://www.theverge.com/2022/2/28/22950636/amazon-alexa-telehealth-teladoc-echo> .

Earlier this year, the company expanded its Amazon Care services to 20 cities <https://www.cnet.com/tech/amazon-care-in-person-health-services-to-expand-to-20-new-cities/> in the US. Amazon Care provides a wide range of medical care services, including COVID-19 and flu testing, vaccinations, treatment of illnesses and injuries, preventive care, sexual health, and prescription requests and refills.
