I once had to use a wheel chair, after a car accident!
I also use a walker for long distances.
I still have some sight, thankfully, but using that wheel chare was hard!
Mine was manual!

Deborah, my Joy Wheels have a story behind the title. I smashed my foot in
2009. I went from three days in the hospital to a nursing home to figure out
how I could be mobile in my home and community. Finally, after two days in a
bed in the nursing home they put me in a wheelchair. Well, howdy, I was off.
The OT oriented me to the nursing home with my long white cane. I taught her
by the way, grin. She got how I like to learn fairly fast. Soon I was off as
fast as I could barring no seniors who did not know how to get out of my
way. Got in a few log jams of bewildered seniors. She blind how is she going
around here like that, giggle. There comments were cute to me. I was six
months and a bit more in that wheelchair. Well, I got out of that one only
to go in a wheelchair again for another two three injuries. But the
wheelchair I realized in that Nursing home gave me freedom. With freedom
came joy, aka, Joy Wheels, smile. I am not down being now semi-permanently
in this wheelchair. I can go with friends in there car with the transport
chair, which is like twenty pounds. Go on transit with this light weight
speedster. Go on longer walks with the battery I attach to the speedster.
The battery and special tires turn this thirty-pound chair into an
eighty-pound chair. Can't say the power part is fast, but it feels fast to
me, shiver.

Rejoice knowing that life rolls on in a wheelchair.
