Mitsy Kit Simple Lacing Classes:

These will be held as one class per quarter, on the third Sunday of the month.  The first beginning in June, then again in September, and then again in December.  The classes will focus on fleece lacing projects that will be holiday-themed.  In June we will have a July 4th theme, in September we will have a Fall or Halloween theme, and in December we will have a Christmas theme.

Pre-requisites include the ability to thread a ribbon through a wide-eyed plastic needle, weaving of ribbon or shoelaces through pre-drilled holes in fleece squares, some simple tying of knots and bows, and potentially light gluing of accessories to projects.

Projects will require the purchase of Mitsy Kit fleece project kits for each class since the fabric required for these projects uses Mitsy Kit proprietary tactile bordered holes for lacing.
Next Email Class will be Sunday June 19th - Our Mitsy Kit Simple Lacing Project will be a 20-inch square 4th of July fleece table topper made in a festive pinwheel designwith four navy blue ten-inch squares and four red half-square triangles with white shooting stars. The four navy blue ten-inch squares will be laced together with white fleece ribbon while also attaching the four red half-square triangles on alternating corners to create the pinwheel pattern. For those who want to use the skills learned to make this pinwheel pattern into a fleece patchwork quilt, you can order and make four of the pinwheel blocks to lace them together into a 40-inch blanket for $65.00, or you can order and make nine of these pinwheel blocks to lace them together to create a 60 inch blanket for $130.00.  Other patterns are available for quilt orders, but the class project will only include the 4th of July pinwheel pattern.
