This evening we learned all about the pink slipper project which is a group
that makes slippers, dishcloths, and animal blankets for women shelters.

So if you have been thinking of teaching your favorite slipper pattern this
would be a great time or this is a great place to send all your extra
dishcloths that Dixie has been teaching us.

To learn more about the pink slipper project you can go to their blog.

Thepinkslipperproject.blogspot.com

You can join their face book page.

psp challenge group

You can enter the challenges by making a pledge on the psp challenge group
or by going to the blog.

I found for myself the easiest way to participate was to go to the blog and
read about the challenge and see what the shelter needs and then email in my
challenge

thepinkslipperproject at gmail.com <mailto:thepinkslipperproject at gmail.com>

If you make a pledge to make certain items they will contact you and let you
know if your pledge is accepted or if it's already been filled.

Try to make your items in a timely period.

Their next challenge will be posted to the face book page and the blog on
November 1st at 2:00 central.

A new challenge comes out each Tuesday, but not always at the same time.

I found out today that they will be only having 3 more challenges this year.
Then they will be starting up again after Christmas. So you can work on
making items in advance to pledge then if you want.

If you have any other questions or need help let me know.
