[NFB-Krafters-Korner] help needed with a project please

What are the faces made of? Are they furry, or smooth? If they're smooth,
you could crochet a few chain stitches and sew them on in a smiley shape.
Or, in either case, you could cut a smile out of a bit of felt and sew that
on. Felt would work OK for a nose, too. Just sew them on good so a little
kid doesn't pull them off and try to eat them.

Hi,

I hope this request is an appropriate one to send to the list. I certainly
do not want to do anything that would be considered inappropriate. I have
sewn some teddy bears to go in the operation Christmas child boxes. I have
them all done except the face and stuffing. The bears are 6 inches tall. I
was wondering if I could get some suggestions on what I might use for
their mouths? I thought about using sequence, but they are just a little to
small for my hands to use any more. I am sewing a smiley face shank button
on the chest where the heart would be. thanks in advance for any
suggestions.

Debbie K.
