[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Aleene's glue

I bought a tube of Aleene's fabric glue.  I can't figure out how to open the
tip, so I took off the lid and stuck my finger to get a little glue to smear
on what I wanted to glue.  It was a bit messy, but gluing is always messy
for me, which is why I try to avoid it. 

I would welcome tips.  And how am I supposed to open the tip of the tube?
Cut it off, like you do with a tube of caulk?
