Hi Jolene, would you like to tag team with me next year to make a Wolf Dream
Catcher? I have just a plain one over my bed now, and, feel that it is time
for a change and to honor my Tribal Nations Spirit Guide which is of course
the Wolf.
Let me know!

i get my leather kits on either amazon or hobby lobby's websites or go to
hobby lobby or michaels and they have some in the store. better selection is
online.
each dreamcatcher is different. some have leather, some also have fur and
this is wrapped around a metal ring. the web is woven from artificial sinew
with a single bead and there is always a hole in the middle of the web.
then there are five dangles with beads ending in feathers dangling from the
ring. i also add charms or a wooden shape for decoration. i have done
wolves, bears, butterflies, and more. i also do them in different colors. i
use real leather lacing because the fake suede stuff breaks if you try to
pull on it to wrap the ring. i just started one that is blue and purple
leather wrapped. this one is going to have a big wolf on it and will be
above my bed.
i just love all the possibilities. you can get rings on amazon that are i
think 18 inches in diameter. i think that is how big my blue and purple one
is. you can get them as small as 2 inches and every size in between.

i buy all those supplies on amazon including the feathers. i love real
feathers and use ostrich feathers, pheasant feathers and some other naturals
like duck or peacock.
i try to find ethically sourced feathers.
the ostrich feathers i like because they are really soft.
it is a craft that requires patience
i think the larger sized rings might be easier to weave the web in the
middle .
