Hi Henry, Terry, and Jolene,
I am intereested also in leather Crafting. 
I need to get some good  but inexpensive Tools. Are there Tandy Leather  Stores anymore?
I made a CheckBook  cover with A Cross Stitch Cut Out in the corner. The cover had lacing and I even stained the leather.  I had made other small  items also. 
Count me in if you  plan to have a class in Leather Craft.

Hi Jolene, do you have the link for the real leather mocasons?
Quite a while ago, Joyce who is also on this list gave us a link which I
can't find right now for a Mocason lace up kit which Terry and I made.
I want to make more of them and embellish them with beads or turquoise
stones.
Oh, I think that quite a while ago we did see Mocason kits at Tandy Leather
company, but, was that leather the real McCoy?
Now that we (Terry and I have found a fellow leather crafter, I think that
we are off and running, big smile.

i have done some cutting with leather scissors just not the knives. i found
those on amazon too. i will try to look in my order history to find them and
send the link. i have a squeeze punch and the punchers you use with the
mallet. all from amazon.
i love the realeather moccasin kits. i have done several of those for family
and friends.
