[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Lion-Brand Homespun yarn

I chose this yarn to make snuggly fuzzy hats, but it sheds and I found it
breaks easily. If someone on the list would like what I bought, I would be
glad to send it to you. If not, I could give it away on freecycle.

One important thing to know when working with Homespun.  This yarn is
wrapped around a cord core.  This then makes it so the yarn has a nap.  If
you run your fingers down a strand of the yarn, one direction the yarn will
bunch up around that cord core, the other direction the yarn will expand
around the cord core.  You want to knit it in the direction that the yarn is
expanding otherwise it makes it much more challenging to work with.

Hi Crafters! 

I'm curious to know if any of you have worked with Lion-Brand Homespun yarn,
and what you think of it. I'm especially interested in hearing what the
knitters on this list think of knitting with this yarn. Has anyone on this
list knit a sweater with this yarn? I have a bunch of Homespun that was
given to me by my aunt, and I'm thinking about knitting a sweater out of it,
and am curious to know if anyone else on this list has done this and has any
tips!
