[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Knitting an afterthought heel as a blind person

I will preface my response by saying I am not a needle knitter, I am a loom knitter. After reading through the instructions, I’m wondering why not run a lifeline where they say knit in the scrap yard? Then you know where to start your heel & where to cut.

Also, if you are scared of cutting into your work, knit a piece the size of a baby booty and practice on that until you build up your confidence.
