Hi Nella!
Yes, I've made a couple animals.  I inherited a pattern from my mother called Sam the Ram.  Sam is a pretty big sheep in a fancy cabled sweater.  He's really great, but he doesn't stand up too well, probably because of my stuffing job.  
I also made a Labrador tree topper.  When he's not sitting on my Christmas tree, he lies on one of my speakers.  His legs are not stuffed, so his head and front paws flop over the edge and his tail sticks up.  He looks comfortable.  And now he has a lamb to keep him company.  

One of the gals in my knitting group made a super-cute mouse wearing a sweater, but it was too much work for me to attempt.   I'm not really into stuffies, but the lamb was too cute to resist.  And easy.
