[NFB-Krafters-Korner] successful Saturday

Don’t feel guilty! It’s been taking me forever to even sit down and read emails Ramona. We also went to the Wisconsin state fair this year. You were able to contact them a couple of days ahead of time and they would assign you a volunteer. My husband is totally blind and I haven’t enough site to help much either. We met a very nice lady and she stayed with us the entire evening. my husband was quite tame in his food choices but besides a cream puff, we had corn on the cob and I tried alligator legs. They were great! Tiny bones, but they were pretty meaty. We wanted to go on the Ferris wheel and see the animals, but it was so crowded , it just didn’t happen. We got there too late to see the animals unfortunately. We’re going to try to plan better next year. Glad you had a fantastic time and nobody is too young or too old to go to the fair.
