Would it be helpful to show it to AIRA or a Be My Eyes volunteer? I've had
some success pointing to things and asking what it is I'm pointing at.

there is a cow, a horse, and a pig in the farm section. Since they are the
only things in the they are fairly obvious. Some of the things around the
obvious parts of the pictures pictures are what is confusing.

Subject: Re: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] report on Our braille coloring books I
received the coloring books on farm, fall, and winter. Other than the title,
there are no descriptions, no instructions about what colors to use where.
Going from the titles I could make out parts of the pieces, but there are
still elements which I do not understand. They are really quite interesting,
but you need a little experience in interpreting imbossed pictures to get
anything out of these books. If you are low vision, have seen in the past,
or have had some art experience, these could be very interesting, but for a
newby? No way, not without a lot of sighted help learning to interpret these
pictures. If you have such help, though, you could learn a lot from these
books, but don't count on any clarification from the books themselves.

Subject: Re: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Our braille coloring books Cats and
raccoons look similar though. Of course the mask and striping is a bit
different. I think they look more like actually Maine coon cats, but this is
just what I've been told. I've heard of people mistaking a raccoon for a
stray cat.

Like you said, I'm sure their people could tell other differences, but not
me.
