[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Help please adding stitches

I'd cast on the stitches at the end of the round. I'd probably just do a
backward loop cast-on, though cable cast-on would also work.
I think the trick to closing the hole is to pick up an extra stitch when you
go to knit the thumb, then decrease it away. Haven't done it for a while,
though.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Help please adding stitches

I am making the trigger gloves for my grandson. I'm told to add 8 stitches
at the end of a round. I'm having a block about how to do that. It is going
to leave a hole at the base of the thumb. Any help out there?

Thanks,

Bernice
