I like all of these ideas. Everyone had wonderful and creative ideas what to
make from those few items.

Did you know that baking soda, Epsom salts and citric acids are the main
ingredients in making bath bombs

Make a paper mache bowl by wrapping a portion of the balloon with strips of
paper or cloth soaked in the paper mache solution. Will need to build up
the bottom so the bowl can stand. Once the bowl is dry, pop the balloon and
paint the bowl if desired.

Make a hanging basket by starting like the above bowl. Skip forming a
bottom. Add 2, 3 or 4 strips of the paper mache covered paper or cloth from
the bowl to the top of the balloon. Let dry and add another layer. Might
even want to wait and put on another layer. Again, when dry pop the
balloon. Be creative with adding something to the top to hang it. This
will only hold light weight items, like dried or fake flowers.

Make a lantern cover/shade for small decorative Christmas like lights.
Again get out your paper mache solution along with strips of cloth and/or
yarn. Cover all or part of the balloon with the mache soaked material. You
will want to leave gaps/holes so that light can be seen. You will not need
more than 2 layers of cloth, or 1 layer of yarn. Leave a hole or slit of
some type to pass the light or wire through. You will need to be creative
with this. again, once everything is dry, pop the balloon.

Make a mask by covering only part of the balloon with paper mache soaked
paper or cloth. Either leave the eye openings as you apply the paper mache,
or wait and cut them out once it is dry and after you pop the balloon.
Paint and decorate as desired.

You have balloons, news paper, paint, yarn and material scrap. What would
you make from these items?
