The quarter inch tape I am talking about is a roll. Iof masking tape, It
comes in 60 yard rolls. I also like to use it to mark the right side of my
fabric. Easy to tear off roll and remove from the fabric. It cowsts around
$10 for the roll. It will last you for a long time.
Joann's have supplies like this on sale all the time.

Hi Kebbie and Joyce,
Tammy from Mitsy Kit has 1 fourth inch strips with a sticky backing that I
use for Hand Quilting. You get a package of 10 or so for around .4 dollars.
I can not remember if it is under .4 but I think that it is. I have ordered
other items at the same time, I am not sure on the exact price , but I
know that it is under .4. You can re-use the strips several times if you
put the peal off backing back on the strip. I find them to be a great help.
Happy Quilting!

Thank you so much for the advice! I will have to research hand quilting a
little more and figure out what works best for me. I've never heard of
quilters tape but that is definitely something I will look into!
