[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Want to know Wednesday

Along that vein, has anybody made a log cabin afghan using anything besides
a garter or stockinette stitch? They can get boring, and I would like to use
ribs or cables and/or other stitches. I enjoy the log cabin idea, because I
don't enjoy sewing projects together.
I taught it once. You start with a small square, and pick up stitches of the
same number on one side. The third piece is picking up stitches on the long
side of the 2 squares. You keep doing this until you have the size you want.
It is good for using partial skeins of yarn. I did one each for my
grandsons. Midway through the process they each decided they wanted the
whole rainbow thing, so I ended up buying yarn anyway.

Some of mine include:
Exercising and being mindful of what I am eating.
Getting rid of the yarn stash by using it for charity projects.
Doing projects that are from 2021 and 2022 that are either not started at
all or partially completed.

Want to know Wednesday is back this year. For anyone new to the list every
Wednesday I will put out a question that hopefully some people will answer.
The questions could be craft related, informational or something just for
fun.

The first question is what sort of New Year resolutions did you make and
they don't have to be craft related?

My new year's resolution is to finish the projects from 2022 that I started
in 2021. That I found the patterns for in 2020 to use the yarn that I bought
in 1999.
