Size 8 needles are usually for worsted or chunky. Does it give a gauge?
What makes it a shadow cable?

Hi there.
I have a pattern on my computer for a Shadow Cable hat.
You cast on 80 st, use size 8 needles.
Does anyone else have this pattern?
I can’t find it on the net and have no idea where I got it.
I am curious if anyone knows of this pattern and what type of yarn to use?
The pattern I have doesn’t tell you.
