[NFB-Krafters-Korner] afghan scare

Wow, Bernice!  I take my hat off to you.  I started the afghan because I
wanted to make 1 for each of my 4 grandchildren, but it's taking me too
long.  Every row is packed with pattern stitches with no breathing room.  Do
you have a simpler pattern that's nice for teenagers?  If so, email a copy
to me, or tell me where to get it.

Tis morning I was counting the repeats in my Kilkenny afghan strip I am
working on. It seemed that the space on the side between the outside points
of the diamond were too close together. I would have had to go back over 100
rows is it were wrong. I was ready to put it away for a couple of months
instead of a couple of weeks. I took a finished strip out to measure, and
the points line up just right. Thank God.

This is my favorite afghan pattern, and believe it or not, I am getting
tired of it. I am so relieved.

I knit between phone calls at work, but I will be doing another contract
starting Thursday, so, there won't be so much time between calls. 

I have been knitting so much during the day that my hands are too tired to
knit any other time. 

I will be glad when this afghan is done as well as the other 2 I'm working
on. It is time to do something else.

I just bought a book with hooded sweaters from Marjorie Arnott, and aa shawl
book. So, That is where I'm headed next.
