[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Want to know Wednesday

My family use to have crab feasts on the Fourth.  I have a couple of times
as an adult made a yellow cake in a 9 by 13 inch pan.  After it cooled I
spread cool whipe on it.  Then to make it like a flag cake I put blue
berries in the upper left hand corner of the cake spacing them a little
apart so the blue berries looked like the blue background and the white from
the cool whip would represent the stars.  Then for the stripes I would place
strawberries.  Nothing fancy.

I would make red, white an blue placemats and a long blue table runner with
white stars on it.  I would have napkin rings in solid red and solid blue
with white stars on them.


I would cut a watermelon into a basket and have a variety of fruit in the
basket.  This would be in the center of my table.
