To Bernice - you mention having made signs using plastic canvas.  Was the canvas pre printed with letters or did you use your own words?  If your own, how did you go about putting the words on the canvas so you knew where to put your stitches?  I'd like to needlepoint a sign for my apartment door that says Home Again Home Again Jiggidy jig because that's what I always think when I come home.
