[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Needle threaders

I have ordered a couple of sets of these, as I am always in search for
needle threaders for my embroidery machine.  It had a working needle
threader, but my machine is out of warranty it costs me over $75 to have a
new one installed.

For sewing machines, I prefer using the beading wire threaders.  I get the
ones that are around 5 inches long and have plenty of room to put them thru
the machine needle.  I  put thread thru front part of threader and pull thru
back of needle.  Being so long, I can thread it thru the needle and let go
of the threader and use both hands to get the thread thru the front part of
loop and have enough length to get a hold on the back & pull thru.  This
type will not work with yarn as it is too delicate.

They're different, but they seem to work and they're sturdy.  I have to get
busy and fix a dog toy, so I'll see how they work with thread.  Should be
fine.

I bought a box of needle threaders from Amazon.  When I got them, they
weren't what I expected, but I'm liking them so far.  I was expecting the
wire loop kind.  These have a thicker handle, but about the same size as the
wire loop kind, but instead of the wire loop they have a short wire hook.
You stick the little hook through the needle, hook the thread over it, and
pull it through.  It seems much sturdier than the wire loop.  I've used it
quite a bit to thread a yarn needle, and I have to be careful to hook the
whole piece of yarn and not just one ply, or it pulls them apart, but it
works well.  I haven't tried it on my little sewing machine yet, but, as I
recall, the wire loop was a pain with the sewing machine needle, so we'll
see.
