I remember Cindy Zimmer telling us about putting crayons in a hot glue gun, and drawing with those. If this is something you feel comfortable doing, you might want to have a glue gun for crayons, and one for actual glue sticks.

I love the ideas suggested, but like Terry, I haven't dealt with crayons or
markers since Heather was a child. Something I used to love to do as a child
was to take a black crayon and draw haphazardly around a paper plate or
paper, then fill in the little sections with different colors of crayon. It
looked like a stain glass window. With a blind child, you could outline with
wicky sticks, and maybe have a sighted person fill in the blank lines where
the wicky sticks were to get the same effect.
Don't you just love the smell of crayons? It smells like school, and I loved
school.

March 31st is national crayon day, So are there crafts you can think of to
do with crayons other than coloring?
