Actually, that isn't how we usually do it. The purpose of the first class is
to learn the 3 kinds of twist stitches. Then, I'll send out the pattern
after the class. How do you do with cables? If you want to practice them, I
could send you an abbreviated version to practice them. Just let me know.

Hi Bernice,
i signed up for your class. Will you be sending the Stitch  Directions for
the 3 Twist  Stitches and the Cables before  class?  I want to practice
before class. I have made the tristed Rib Steaitch before and many Cables.

Good morning,
I am sending a reminder asking you to sign up for my Irish Fisherman Knit
afghan if you haven't already and you want to learn a beautiful complex
pattern. 
We will meet Thursday May 18 and 25 at 8:00. 
This a pattern that I recommend you practice the stitches until you are
comfortable doing them. They aren't hard individually, but they did take me
a bit of practice. When I started this pattern about a month ago, I took my
work apart 3 times until I got comfortable with it again. Now I zip along.
I thought my old brain wouldn't be able to memorize this 26 row pattern, but
surprise, it has. I know where I am in the pattern, of course, by feeling
what I have done. 
There are 3 twist stitches, and once you learn one, the rest are similar.
There are also many cables. Like most complex tasks, if you take it apart
into sections, you can conquer it.
One time I wanted to move my water bed and bedroom furniture from upstairs
to downstairs. I took everything apart, and used gravity to move the whole
thing.
