When I slip stitches, I put the point of my right needle into the space just below the stitch on my left needle, and then slip it to my right needle. Make sure you don't get any of the second stitch on the left needle. If things don't move smoothly, you probably split the yarn or are trying to move more than that loop. I pull the right needle back out, and try again.

Are you passing the 3 stitches one at a time with the one closest to the knitted stitch first?

Hi there.
I am wondering if anyone can help.
I am doing a shawl where you are making hearts. It is lace.
Anyway there is a CTD central treble decrease.
You slip three stitches as if to knit them together, but you slip them to the right needle without knitting them, then you knit a stitch, then slip each of those slipped stitches over and off the needle as if to bind off one at a time.
I am losing stitches or it’s just splitting or something.
Any ideas for help??
