And, the candies were a lot cheaper then too right everyone? I could go to the corner candy store and get a bag of assorted candies and still come home with change in my pocket.
In some cases, the prices have gone way up and the quality has gone way down.
I still enjoy those what they used to call Hostess cupcakes with the chocolate icing and white squiggly line down the middle and twinkies which were probably 10 cents when I was a kid, and, now a box of them are over $2.00 for about 12 in the box.

Are you talking about tootsie rolls Berniece? They’re not real high on my list either. They’re edible. They tasted a lot better when I was younger. But then so did a lot of candy.
