[NFB-Krafters-Korner] My intro, and, wanting to learn to crochet

First off, welcome! I did get a social work degree and I know it’s a lot of dedication especially trying to figure out where to go to get continuing education, credits and to keep trying to decide which branch of social work you want to focus on. Personally, I’ve been working with seniors. Second, yes, it’s not impossible. They taught me, and while I can’t see a little a telephone, can’t show you what they’re doing with their hands! And YouTube videos aren’t much for people with low vision anyhow. You’ve come to the right place. Just remember that just with the ukulele and piano you need to practice this too. Don’t expect to make a blanket right away. Just stick to scarves and potholders till you got it. It’s taking me a long time. But most of these people here are totally blind anyhow, and have been doing it forever so you came again to the right place.

Good luck with all your pursuits and, give some rubs to Kiki for me. I am a total cat lover as well, but we don’t have any kiss at the moment. Good luck with all your wonderful pursuits and I hope your boyfriend likes yarn all over the house. My husband grumps about it.

I never in a million years thought I would try to go to college again. Especially at my age. But also, because the first time was not the best experience.
