Good Morning Bernice, yes, I have worked with class six weight yarn (Super
Bulky) like Wool Ease Thick and Quick on size 15 needles, and, also once on
the 5/8 inch large gauge loom (just on one side of the Double Rake Looms.)
It does make a warm and thick scarf and of course a warm hat.

Have you ever knitted with size 6 yarn? It is a bear. In that trade I made a
few years ago I inherited 6 skeins of yellow with a black strand through it.
Well I used up 6 skeins and it still isn't big enough for a shawl. It is
hard to work with because they stitches won't squish up under my hand being
ready to work with. The piece is 30 by 20, and I am putting it away for a
little bit before I buy yarn to make it into something. The success is that
I persevered to the end of the sixth skein. My hands are saying uncle.
