It all depends if you knit continuously in the round, like you do for a hat
or if you stop and start knitting, back the other way.
Surprisingly enough, you can knit a flat piece or a round piece on a round
loom!

I'm just curious, if you knit your scarf on a round loom will it end up
being tube shaped? Or, in other words double-thick?

Hi to my fellow loom knitters, I am planning on making a scarf on either the
5/8 inch large gauge round or on one side of a 5/8 inch large gauge Double
Rake Loom using Michaels Loops and Threads Charisma yarn, and would like to
know how to keep the edges of flat panel pieces from curling up on the top,
bottom and side borders.

What stitch would you all recommend to prevent this from happening?

I will be doing the center portion of the scarf in the Basic E Wrap stitch.
