Hi Jolene, I am interested in seeing what you found on Amazon. I agree that shipping is out of the roof
The last time that Terry and I were in Jo aAnn's and Michaels, I don't think that we even saw any of the leather kits like they used to have.
Since you do Leather work Jolene, I'd like to team up with you since this group has in the past spoke of doing leather crafting and with the exception of the Moccasins that Joyce taught a year or two ago, there was talk of leather crafting, but, I feel like this group is speaking with a forked tongue about Leather Crafts being a " Part of what do you want to see or learn here at K K." It hasn't happened in the 13 or so years that this group has been around, and, I don't think that it will ever be offered.

belinda, at the risk of offending anyone can you tell me what kinds of kits you are interested in? i do a lot of leather crafting both the kits and my own cuts. i might be able to help you find something. i noticed tandy doesnt have all the same offerings as they used to. of course shipping is always an issue too and that is getting outrageous. i had been looking for some moccasins  once and found a nice kit from realeather on amazon so that company has some nice kits too. one thing i don like about those moccasin kits no matter which company it is, is that the lacing is a shoelace and not leather. so ,i got some flat leather lacing to replace the shoelace. i mean for that price they should give you leather lace. smile those kits are not cheap either. they are fun though. i love to make the bags and saw a tandy kit for a medicine pouch on amazon in case you were inerested. it is small though. just curious as to what you like to make not trying to step on any toes here
