Ericka Nelson merry Christmas, happy Boxing Day, and happy new year. All rolled in one message.

We have been kind of out of the loop it seems. I’ve been reading messages, but mostly we’re just trying to get through the holidays. This year we lost a lot of people in both families and it’s been a bit rough. I think we went through the motions of Christmas with my family, but it just seemed Empty I guess. My middle sister has never really had a conversation with me and probably 30 years but she actually talked to me Christmas day and gave me a big hug so guess there’s hope. Tonight it New Year’s Eve we really aren’t doing anything. Just taking it easy. Trying to emotionally recharge I guess. I am looking forward to spending more time crafting now that I don’t have to worry about family members. We always called my grandparents at the same time for years and years, and now that 7 PM to 9:30 PM, timeslot just doesn’t feel right anymore. Both of them being gone and all. It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun at a lot of food that was fantastic and that is great. 2024 will be good for all I am!
